Breakfast at the hotel here is usually nice, but sadly the past couple mornings have been without crepes -- and today, there were no melons! I was so sad. Of course, that sadness pales in comparison to what we would find out later.
Aunty L still isn't feeling well, and so Uncle D decided to take her to the emergency room. When he got back, he had come to pick up a few things for her because she would have to stay overnight. Unfortunately Uncle D's suspicions were correct, and Aunty L had some sort of infection. She would have to be given penicillin shots, and all we can do is hope that she gets well fast, for her sake and also because we have a flight to catch on the 27th. At least now she has medication that will help. Previously, she had apparently taken some Motrin beforehand but the doctor said it was a not a good thing that she did. It numbed the pain but it didn't take care of it.
So now we're going out for dinner again, just the three of us. I'm sure Aunty L will be okay, it just sucks that she has to go through what she is. Uncle D suspects that it was something in Nevers that got her feeling this way... I mean, we're all okay, but Aunty L might have a more delicate system than we do.
